Can This Divided Congress Govern? A Conversation with Honorable Bob Carr

This talk is part of the UC Regents' Lecture Program.

Bob Carr has built a distinguished career as a lawyer, an 18-year Member of Congress, and currently, an adjunct professor of Ethics & Congress in the Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University. His services as a Congressman included chairmanship of the Transportation Appropriations Subcommittee and chair of the Congressional Arts Caucus. He is also a senior advisor at Brookings Executive Education and Transnational Strategy Group LLC, an international consultancy. He will discuss congressional ethics and how our divided Congress may govern during the next four years. Congressman Carr is a Senior Fellow at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs.
